Flying High In Rosemont IL

I Believe I can Fly - Not. I am scared of heights. Last night we were invited out to dinner by another couple, old friends and they live pretty far away. We meet in the middle and have dinner and a few laughs. This time we met in Rosemont IL at an area near O'Hare airport that is brand new and full of restaurants, a comedy club, night time park all lit up, multiple bars and an inside skydiving joint. I had never been there, the chose the location.

After dinner the friends went home and we went in this place to check this out. I would not do this but the photos and video is pretty cool. For your eyes only.

Anyway, currently at this time in Wilmette IL Real Estate there are 170 single family homes for sale in Wilmette IL and 102 homes under contract and waiting to close. In the last 30 days there have been 38 single family homes closed and are sold. In the condo scene at this time in Wilmette there are 27 properties for sale (Wilmette is not a huge condo market) there is not many buildings like you see in Evanston IL. At this time there are 19 condos under contract in Wilmette waiting to close. In the last 30 days 10 condos have closed and are sold.

Wilmette is a wonderful place to live. I spent much of my youth there and loved it. I would go to Gillson Park Beach and ride my 10 speed around town and loved the cobble stone streets. Interestingly enough Wilmette has a bunch of new restaurants right in the downtown are that are really good. No plug intended but we ate at Valley Lodge last Friday and really enjoyed the dinner. There are about 5 good places to dine right in town and the Metra stops right in downtown Wilmette to pick up commuters and get you to the downtown of Chicago in 25 minutes while you read in a very comfortable bench seat. Wilmette is paradise.

Evanston IL South Blvd Beach Lakefront in May

It is cool today, but very sunny and bright at the lakefront and about 10 degrees warmer in the western suburbs. The nice day inspired me to take a walk to the beach at about 6:00AM.  It was just stunning out. Birds everywhere and a picture perfect day so the camera came in handy. I can just feel that soon we will have some nice warm days.
