Evanston IL has really changed in the last decade. Once a sleepy University town and bedroom community Evanston is now an exciting place to live. With the expansion of Northwestern University and so many condo and apartment buildings popping up in town brought a slew of exciting new business. I remember being able to name all the good restaurants in one breath. Now there are so many that I have not tried and want to. Others feel this way too because as a Realtor we are seeing record sales in single family homes and condos. We are getting a wide audience that is interested in moving to Evanston.
We are seeing singles and young couples interested in living in Evanston and making use of the public transportation such as the Metra and EL trains. There is much exciting entrainment available as well as unique stores as well as the Lakefront parks and beaches. I really enjoy calling Evanston home and feel very excited about our future.
