Today is the 26th Annual North Shore Festival of Art at Westfield Old Orchard mall in Skokie IL. A wonderful time to browse the popular outdoor mall and find inspiration in the work of juried artists specializing in painting, photography, ceramics, glass, jewelry, sculpture, furniture, and more.
Besides so much that Old Orchard offers shoppers the festival is an event not to miss with live music on the music stage, so much great food and a perfect day in Skokie IL with mild temperatures. The north end of the festival will be reserved for kids. Art Bingo and the color creation station invite children to channel their inner creative spirit. Adults can be creative too with an on site still life photography contest or take a souvenir snapshot in the festival’s photo booth.
Old Orchard Mall is one of the most popular malls in the area with many great stores that range in the best department stores from Nordstrom to Macy's and so many top notch restaurants to dine and enjoy yourself after taking in the art or just enjoying a walk and people watching.
