To break it down further for single family homes we see a 60% gain in new listings in December of 2015 at 32 homes vs 20 properties in the same period of 2014. Skokie IL has a 111.8% gain in under contract single family homes in this period at 36 houses while last year at this time the number was 17 homes. The average sales price for a single family home in Skokie IL is $302,130, that is up 7.6% over last year at the same time.
In the condo scene for December of 2015 we see 6.7% less new listings at 14 properties listed vs 15 at this time last year. The figures for under contract condo sales is a 162.5% gain at 21 units vs 8 last year at this time. The average sales price for a condominium in Skokie IL is $188,506, up 2.4% from last year at this time.
